What's she got?
In the world of medicine, one rarely gets asked the typical "Please, tell me more about yourself." Instead, it vacillates between "What signs/symptoms have you been experiencing," or (my personal favorite /sarcasm) "How have you been feeling?." It's funny - my answer to the latter question never seems to change much - unless of course the answer be 'worse.' So, what's she got? You ask. I am the unbefitting host of advanced stage Endometriosis, Crohn's disease, and their kindred companions. Beyond the obvious disorder of my chemical being, I am a nerdy-jock, who spends her days conditioning her body or mind. What can I say, I like to exercise. As I have found myself (lately) spending most of my days in bed - I thought I'd reach out to and share with others whom are struggling with a similar problem - trying to understand someone like myself - or completely unaffected in anyway by chronic illness but should we aware of it anyways. It lives. Please : ask/answer/comment/like/dislike/state : interact! This blog is not just for me. © 2012
